About Us
Mounted Archers of the Potomac is dedicated to promoting the art of horseback archery. Originally started in 2017, our club has grown by leaps and bounds over the years, training at multiple locations in Maryland and Virginia. Our experienced instructors provide beginner archery lessons, training, and desensitization of horses for mounted archery. We pride ourselves on our community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for this ancient sport. Come join us and experience the thrill of archery on horseback!

Our currently scheduled clinics and practices. Regular mounted practices are only open to those who have completed our introductory ground clinic and can successfully speed load while walking. Our intro clinics are open to all from age 8 and up, although anyone under 18 attending must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the clinic.
